Activities

The Iloilo Lodge launched a free study program on Theosophy this year 2008.

We started the first series last January 6, 2008 entitled Introduction to Theosophy  We also started our audio visual book reading on January 20, 2008 on At the Feet of the Master by J. Krishnamurti.

Last February 3, 2008, we discussed the Theosophical Seal. An audio visual book reading on February 17, 2008 on Light on the Path by Mabel Collins.

On March 2, 2008, we will be discussing Christianity and Theosophy.  And on March 23, 2008 a book reading on The Voice of the Silence by H.P. Blavatsky will be conducted.

Theosophy and Science is our topic on April 6, 2008 and on April 20, 2008 book reading on Science of Breath by Yogi Ramacharaka.

On May 4, 2008 we will be discussing Cults, The Occults and Theosophy .  The Bhagavad Gita will be read on May 18, 2008.

H.P. Blavatsky and Her Writings will be on June 1, 2008. On June 22, 2008 a book reading on The Stanzas of Dzyan.

On July 6, 2008 we will discuss Death and the Life Beyond. On July 20, 2008 an audio presentation on Through Death to Rebirth by James Perkins.

On August 3, 2008 topics on Reincarnation will be discuss. And on August 24, 2008 book reading on Reincarnation A Hope of the World by Irving Cooper.

Karma: The Law of Order and Opportunity will be discuss on September 7, 2008 and on September 21, 2008 book reading on Christening of Karma Secret of Evolution by Geddes MacGregor.

Vegetarianism and Theosophy will be discuss on October 5, 2008 and on October 19, 2008 an audio presentation on Vegetarianism and Spirituality by Pat Davis.

A topic on Who am I? What does it mean to be human? will be discuss on November 2, 2008 and on November 23, 2008 a discussion on the topics Why am I here? and What is a life purpose?

On December 7, 2008 we will be discussing Meditation and on December 21, 2008 Yoga, a Theosophical Perspective
